The guys who repaired my Centered Tone back in December seemed to think
that the particular "run" of instruments from about 1957 were somewhat
anomalous because the keys are "German silver" instead of silver-plated.
High-end Selmers, they said, usually had silver plated keys except for
this particular Q-series. I don't know if that's entirely accurate.
