Hello Matt,

no Guru, but perhaps some wise words :) :

It seems that you started to use the wrong muscles or too much pressure so
you become tired soon. Perhaps it is only a slight illness that you may
not even have noticed which makes you feel tired soon or affects your
concentration?

Be patient.

Whenever I have problems with my embouchoure (and I had a lot in the past
because I changed to a mouthpiece I could not adapt myself to, now I am
back to the one I played on for almost 15 years), I know it is time to put
down this nice concertos and practice scales and etudes in the lower
register - and I think someone here has mentioned it before - long tones.
while doing that, I concentrate on what I am doing with my lips and how
the tone is affected.

Maybe (it helps me sometimes) you stop playing a day or two, so your lips
can `forget' their positions.

It is like driving a car. If one gets routine one gets better, more
routine even more, only routine and you will shift into the wrong gear.

HTH and good luck
Christian
