There are numerous versions out there, so it seems like you simply have to
find someone who has a version out there which matches your ensemble.
Consolidated Music Publishers sells the Clarinet and Piano
reduction/score. At last I heard, it is still in print.
I know there is a jazz band version; I would call Consolidated to find out
more about this version. Also, the John Bruce Yeh recording (Ebony
Concerto, RR-55CD) has it.
The version for full orchestra is a rental. It is like over $300 to
borrow for a single performance. . .
But the version which I made reference to, for concert band, is likely the
earliest. I too have a copy of another version, making it unnecessary to
have a piano playing. I'm sure there are others out there. . .
It is amazing the transformations which have existed from a simple piece
where AS simply improvised his part and wrote out the accompaniment for
his band, and now different people have transcribed it.
I appreciate the help from the people who wrote me back, and have some
leads now to follow. . . Thanks!
