Assuming is a bad thing. And going against my own words, I'm going to do
that right now! Unless I'm totally off, I'm reading 12-tone scale as 12
semi-tone scale (chromatic). If I'm wrong, _STOP READING HERE!_ From
what I learned in Ear Training and Sight Singing, the chromatic scale in
solfeggio is:
Do-Di-Re-Ri-Mi-Fa-Fi-Sol-Si-La-Li-Ti-Do
That's ascending.
Descending, well...
That's something totally different. I do know that you begin and end on
Do. I also know that there are plenty of people on this list that know
this better than I do, but I thought I'd post and stuff.... Okay, I'm
going to stop now!
