I have had many gigs where I bring all 3 horns. Since I rehearse w/ a
number of different groups each week, and don't trust myself to pack up the
car correctly in a different way each time, all 3 clarinets have a way of
following me around all the time.

Switching cases is dangerous. Reeds/mouthpieces/barrels are small, and
easily forgotten.

I needed the A for a piece I was playing in one of the Master's recital's I
think the name was "Song for David". If it wasn't for that piece though, I
wouldn't have needed it. I also don't have a single case to use so my A
would
have come along anyway.
