WEll...

For a lot of this time, manufacturers have been producing other types of
flutes and oboes, for beginners, amateurs, and pros who didn't want to
change. Which do you think lived longest - the last player of the Pratten
flute, or the last player of the Clinton clarinet? I think, in fact,
Pratten flute players still live, though, admittedly, these instruments
seem not to be made any more.
