Out of curiosity, I picked up a Brancher ligature. The guy at the store,
Roberto's, was unequivocal in his praises of the thing. Much more
free-blowing, he said.

He was right. I've never used anything like it. It's on a Selmer HS*
mouthpiece with a Vandoren V12 #3, and I feel like I'm playing a new horn
because I never heard THIS one before, obviously. The ease of production
is incredible and the tone coming from the instrument is way sweeter than I
imagined.

Great piece of work!

Ken

"The East River. But it was not a river at all. Merely a column of water
connecting the upper harbor to the Sound. Yet everyone called it a river.
They chose not to think about it. They clung to the surface of things."
