All the world isn't Windows, and all the mailers in the world aren't
8 bit clean (IOW - anytime you have to use an ALT key to get a
character you run the risk of having either the mail rejected or
someone's terminal go bonkers). It's better to try & "Anglicize" the
spelling of works with acutes, graves, and other diacritical marks
if you want them to be readable on the lowest common denominator
(TTYs or CRTs, also known as glass TTYs).
