Subj: [kl] Barrel Inquiry

With Mr. Fobes' discussion on barrels, I think I shall bring up the recent
problem I have discovered.

I have found that a Scott 66 AA2 barrel REALLY helps the tuning on my
Greenline. Problem is, the stupid thing is a pain to put on and get off.
The barrel will go on fine till about the last 4-5 mm of the tenon, and
then I've got to really fight to get that thing on all the way. Same to
remove it. (Just fine at the mouthpiece end, though). I tried to put it
on another Green line, and the other was worse: the tenon was to big to
get the barrel on even partially.

Any sentiments/suggestions?
