I'm about to completely dismantle my bass clarinet to clean it, and I was
wondering if there's any particular way to a) remember how to put it all
back together and b) clean the keys. It's not actually my bass, and I don't
know how long it is since it's been cleaned. Some of the keys have green
scum on them - it's revolting! I plan to use meths on a soft cloth to get
this muck off the keys - will this work? Anybody have any suggestions - the
keys are nickel-plated, by the way.
Thanks
Anna
