I don't want to sound like a stick in the mud, but this list is full of so
many postings already that I personally think saxophone postings are totally
inappropriate.
I know many out there double, but this is not a reed doublers list, it is for
the clarinet and that is why I subscribe. There are saxophone lists, and
those who are devoted to both instruments (good luck!) should perhaps
subscribe to both, and not mix the two. Or else there should be a reed
doublers list distinct from everything else.
I already pull down 70 or more postings a day from this list, do we need to
complicate it by throwing in the saxophone? What will be next? The oboe, the
bassoon, or ......the Octavina? Where will the line be drawn?
