Mauro,
These are not two silly questions. Reeds which are not used should
last virtually forever, or until they get moldy or the wood dries out so
much that it cracks (that would have to be decades). I store my reed on my
mouthpiece. FIrst I clean it off and then I put it back on. This way, it
molds itself to the mouthpiece and plays better. There is nothing wrong
with doing this.
