I love playing the Alto clarinet. I own a Noblet with a Vandoren B45
mouthpiece, Harrison ligature, and Vandoren reeds. I love the way it sounds,
both high and low. I can also sometimes get it to sound like like I'm playing
my alto saxaphone.
I think sometimes people degrade the alto is because they don't take it
seriously, so the horns get a bad rap. Perhaps?
