Well i know the buffet r13 i bought about a year and a half ago was
doing the same thing but not too bad. I have also heard similiar
stories from other students and friends. Possibly it ay be something in
the way the metal they are using nowadays it may have some defect to
it. Or it may be the climate in which you live. But I was using a b45
myself and have changed mouthpieces just recently but the atrnishing
stopped progreesing after the first 8 months or so and has not gotten
noticeably different while i was still using the b45
