Hi Jason

The way around the bridge key problem is to keep an open throat and play
flat (like you mentioned) and start to slide off the top hand BEFORE you
lift up the Bb/F finger. Once you get past the high A, you can remove
the right hand without a problem, and tighten up the lip to get to the
High C. That should smooth things out.
