Subj: [kl] Fischoff results/Congrats Jonathan Cohler

Congratulations go to Jonathan Cohler's String Quartet "the Firebirds" for
winning 3rd place in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition Junior
Division. Also congrats to Ron Carey, (my student, and a list member)
Settlement Music School Woodwind Quintet for placing 4th in the
Competition. The first 3 prizes were String groups. Too bad there weren't
separate Divisions like in the Senior Division.
Donald Sinta coached Ron's group (as a guest coach after the competition),
and said "I didn't like Woodwind Quintets until I heard you guys play".
