Curious - how do you store your reeds now?
I've never taken the time to really prepare my reed. I just take them out of
the box. Unless I see something weird, then I use my knife or reed clippers.
And if it is slightly bent I just rub my finger over it on a flat surface.
Then my reeds play well right out of the box (or even when I don't have to do
thatpreperation). There was also something I did a while back (haven't done
it too recently), that I bit down on the end of the reed (the hard part) and
blew to see if any air bubbles appeared on the reed. If they shoed up, I
worked on them. Has anyone else ever done this?
