Reeds are going to warp no matter how you store them. Clamping them to a=

glass won't stop this, and, particularly if the vamp is closely covered
with plastic, leads =
to mildew. Also, when you take the reed out of the case and wet it, it
will warp anyway.
So let me suggest a bit of heresy. You *want* the reed to warp. As mu=
ch
as possible.
One of the main purposes of the seasoning process is to let the reed warp=
and then =
sand it flat, and keep doing this until it is stable. The same principle=
as "pre-shrinking"
cotton or wool.
Does anyone else do it this way?
