As I understand it, the facing of the Larry Teal is essentially the same as
the C*, but the chamber is vastly different. It is a classical-type round
chamber, as opposed to the square (S-80) or arch-shaped (older
soloist-style) chamber of the C*. That should result in a smoother, less
edgy sound.
