I certainly would like to see more people give more attention to modern
music. I think it's sorely neglected, especially by orchestras. Composers
of modern music are alive, (but not necessarily well), in the present and
these people need to eat, support families, etc., just like everyone else.
Though I love Bach in particular, I know that the people making money on his
music did not write the music. It's really sad when you realize that a
composer like Bartok was a pauper and weighed 80 pounds when he died.

Viva composers and may they always thrive! I know that I'll do everything I
can to help them out!
