Mr. Norsworthy,
I own a ReeDuAL and that is what inspired me to attempt this. The
main flaw with the reedual is that it requires a model reed. Since, as we
all know, reeds come in different densities, etc... this is not an optimal
machine. I have been compiling a series of "yes or no" questions that would
be asked and based on the answers, it would adjust accordingly. This should
begin to deal with all of the variances because it will have taken into
account what you experienced when you played on the reed.

For Example:

How does the reed feel to you?
1)Hard
2)Soft

How does the reed "sound" to you?
1)Stuffy
2)Dark
3)Congested
4)Annoyed
etc...
(these are not the questions, just examples. I am still comprising a list
of objective and difinitive questions)

BTW, I am just doing this for my own enjoyment. Not only does it give me
practical training with reeds, but also with my EE skills:)

Thanks Again,
Ryan Lowe
