The upside down music lyre

In recent postings there was mention of large music lyres, the ones that
can go over the metal on the bell.
This same music lyre, when turned upside down, can be used as a prop for
the clarinet.
Place a long ruler or any other thin piece of wood across your knees and
lean this upside down lyre on the piece of wood.
And voila, you take some of the pressure off your thumb, wrist or
whatever.

Of course, don't place any music on the lyre!

And make sure the lyre is on the bell of the clarinet
