I recently got a copy of Lime Notation software, which does all the
things requested and more. In fact, I think it was from this list which
I got the URL. For Macs, it's
http://datura.cerl.uiuc.edu/Lime/Mac.html, and for Gates-systems (a.k.a.
Microsoft) it's http://datura.cerl.uiuc.edu/Lime/Windows.html. You can
download if for free as a demo (which seems to be identical to the whole
thing), and registration is only $65, a real bargain as far as I can
tell. It seems to do everything (scores, transposition, and other stuff
I never even heard of) and is very thoughtfully written.

While I'm at it, here are some URLs for clarinet maker's sites, since
someone was asking for information on Yamahas.

http://www.yamaha.com/band/
http://www.selmer.com/
http://www.gleblanc.com/gleblanc/
http://www.boosey.com/mi/buffet.html
http://web.tin.it/patricola/

Most, if not all, have information on particular models.
