Hello all!

I receintly auditioned for my high school wind ensemble (if it makes any
difference, I will be attending Churchill High School in Livonia, MI).
Anyways, the director asked me if I would be willing to concider (should
the need arise) playing alto or bass clarinet, if no more needed soprano
clarinets were needed. If this decision were to decide also my placement
(either wind ensemble and an alto or bass clarinet, or the lower level
symphony band and my soprano clarinet), should I play the alto or bass?
Will it affect my clarinet career at all?
