Get a hold of the Rose 32 and 40 Etudes books. You may think
they're written for soprano clarinet, but these etudes are
practiced by oboists and bassoonists and saxohponists...and
certainly by bass clarinetists. They exercise basic technique
and rhythm and dynamics, in addition to being excellent studies
of musicianship and phrasing for the more advanced player, no
matter what instrument you play.
