If you're interested in performance on the electronic wind instrument (as
opposed to learning about it), you should get in touch with Michele Gingras
at Miami University of Ohio. Her web page is at
http://miavx1.muohio.edu/~gingram/ and her e-mail address is
gingram@-----.

She's an absolutely terrific clarinetist, with a special interest in
contemporary music and performance on the electronic wind instrument, and
she probably has more experience in actual performance on it than anyone.
She began integrating the Akai into her performances as soon as it
appeared, and has had a lot of music written for her using the Akai. She
is also very approachable and anxious to discuss contemporary performance
techniques with anyone who's interested.

Happy noodling. Come back to organic materials once in a while, even
though it includes REEDS :-).

Thanks Ken. I appreciate the information.....and will never abandon reed
instruments!!
