I recently purchased a copy of Jonathon Cohler's Clarinet Alone CD. I
had never heard Jonathon play and was thrilled to hear such beautiful
playing. It is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
I do have a couple of questions for Jonathon. First, what
fingering for Altissimo B do you use in A Set for Clarinet by Martino.
I am interested because I am currently beginning to work on it for my
masters recital in the fall of '98. Also, I wondered about the Abyss of
the birds by Messiaen, is it available by itself, or do you have to get
the entire quartet for the end of time?
