you might want to try Introduction, Theme, and Variations by Rossini. It
isn't particularly hard, but it is definitely challenging and very beautiful.
The Introduction is in a very slow 6 8 and the theme is light and perky. the
variations get a little flashy around the 3rd or 4th variation....cna't
remember which one. and then it takes on a minor key for another slow
variation. I've played it for a few auditions already, and it's a good piece
that you can do a lot with. I recommend it if you want to try it.
