Hi Ken:

I believe the problem is that Yamaha, Selmer-Bach, Buffet, and maybe some
others do not allow them to publish wholesale prices. The reason for this
is to protect the retail establishments that sell the same merchandise.

I don't think it really helps, anyway, because anyone can pretty much figure
the approximate cast since the mark-up is about the same on most instruments
and, if someone REALLY wants the price, all they have to do is call.
