I would like to know, too. There are also Shostakovich parts with high G#
in, which, fortunately, I've never had to play in a concert. A lot of
fingerings can be got to produce this note, more or less, if you squeeze
the reed enough; however, this probably shouldn't be relied on, and
expert opinion on this one would be welcome, too..
