Tani Miller asked:
>My husband's Eb soprano clarinet player in his wind symphony has to play
>a high A on Copland's Outdoor Overture.
>It's not a note I've spent massive amounts of time playing--by choice!
>Anyone know of any good fingerings that work on Eb soprano?
Can't vouch for it myself, but Peter Hadcock's book indicates that it
occurs also in Mahler's 3rd and suggests for high A:
Thumb and register key, first side key for LH index finger and the F#/C#
key for the LH little finger.
