So here is my favorit:

A clarinet player and a viola player start a fist fight. The conductor
sees it, ends the fight and asks what was going on.
The clarinet player: 'He broke my reed!'
Conductor to the viola player: ' Is this true?'
The viola player:'Yes, but he made my viola sound out of tune, first.'
Conductor:' But that isn't really a big problem.'
Viola player:' It is! He doesn't tell me which string!'

(BTW:If someone would help a poor german soul: How do you call the
opposite of tuning? Detuning or untuning or something else?)
