CIMCIM, an international organization of curators of collections of
musical instruments, now has its annotated worldwide list of such
collections available on line. This is a valuable reference for people
interested in finding information on a particular species of instrument.

The pages for U.S. and Canada are the result of a lot of hard work by
Al Rice and his AMIS colleagues.

Since collections are always in flux, the data will always naturally be
a little old. Mr. Rice has informed me that information on the various
collections is being revised as quickly as possible after updates are
received. Persons or institutions wishing to have their collections
listed can Email Mr. Rice or CIMCIM right off the directory.
