I know she sells instruments she has reconditioned there and there was a
metal Noblet for sale last week. There always seem to be several metal
clarinets for sale there and they usually go for under $100. There was
even an old 5-piece Buffet metal clarinet awhile ago (sold for a little
over $300 as I recall). There are also quite a few plastic instruments
available most of the time -- usually Bundy or Vito but occasionally a
plastic Evette. (In fact, if you read this message soon, there is a
plastic Evette on the auction now with a high bid of $61 but only about
two hous to go as I write this. Bids haven't reached the seller's
minimum acceptable ("reserve") price yet, though.) My only caveat would
be that you assume the worst about condition (regardless of the posted
description) and bid conservatively. Also check the seller's feedback
regardless of score. If there are a some negatives, read the reasons.
Some sellers are clueless when it comes to clarinets and some are, shall
we say, less than totally honest.

Oh, yes, I recommend against buying any instruments listed by
Musicus1@-----.
