Remember that a Soprano Sax has a conical bore and a small narrow
mouthpiece. The clarinet has a cylindrical bore of various diameters, which
gives it totally different characteristics including natural scales and
overtone series. BTW the open holes and key holes are brought up to "finger
level" with tubes from the main body.
