To answer the question: There is a metallic paint in small jars. My
color is "Pale liquid gold"
One has to make sure that the insignia is clean.In other words, if it
got filled up with dirt over the years, this paint won't go into the
insignia completely.
One has to carefully clean it with a needle or something like that.
What I used to do is: paint a little of this metallic paint over the
insignia. Wait until it drys.
And then with a knife, GENTLY scrape off the stuff that did not go into
the insignia itself and voila- a new clarinet!
