Yes, but they SPEND big money, too! Take away that bowl revenue and they
are in the hole for the year! Notre Dame makes money even without a bowl
bid (TV contract, licensing on a NATIONAL level, etc., you know). A bowl
game means more funding for academic scholarships, etc.
