Adding to what Jack said concering Southern and Mr. Hite's work, the "Hite Site"
contains a recommended course of study for clarinet. All of the music is
available through Southern, and there are some excellent recommendations.
Southern's music is always very reasonable and I have found the editions to be
reliable as well. That article introrduction's URL is
http://www.jdhite.com/study/Clarinet/intro.htm and from there you can go to the
various parts of the article. I would recommend starting with four or so.
