The second clarinet to Brody was Walter Wollage (sp?)--Jerry stowell
(my teacher) was Eb and assistant from the 1930's until his death
in 1972. George Weber was bass clarinet. I believe all his instruments
(he played German Wurlitzer bass) were given to the CSO after his death.
This includes a German system Wurlitzer basset horn that Larry Combs
played on the 2 volume CD of Mozart basset horn music. All the other
bassets were Leblanc.
