The businesses that I work for never spend money needlessly. They are constantly
reviewing the budget. They don't keep recruiting after filling the open
positions. Last year they REALLOCATED part of the recruiting budget to upgrade
test lab facilities. Part of our engineering prototype budget was REALLOCATED to
upgrade computers throughout the facility when engineering determined that the
prototype needs were less than originally expected. We did not waste money
building unneeded prototypes or interviewing extra candidates just because we had
it.
