You need to find a library that contains the publication "Annals of
Botany." If I were in your position, Fernando, I would find the
largest university in the city, go to the library, and ask the
librarian if the library contains that publication. If not,
then the next thing you must do is find out where it is published
and write to them to get an offprint of the article.

In my case, I am very fortunate to have two great university
libraries nearby and they contain technical periodicals in
10 languages. I suspect you have something like that near you.
