Dear Jean,
I visited the Buffet factory in 1993 and tried numerous bells, barrells,
instruments. They were very friendly and helpful. They also have a separate
room for testing. I have been led to believe that if I had had the time I
may of got a tour. I got lost on the way to the factory though and spent
quite some time trying to find it!!!
They are on the outskirts of Paris, but they are quite close to a train
station (should be 5minutes walk if you don't go the wrong way).
I think the station was Mantes (or Mantes la Ville )
Good luck
Brian Catchlove
