While this is generally true, I suspect that some people look a lot better on
their resume than in "real life"; others will perform well at audition though
their resumes are less than impressive. If time and money are not TOO
constraining, I would suggest auditioning all those who meet minimum
qualifications...whatever those are in the professional clarinet world.
