Actually, while I can appreciate your opinion that everything Jonathan
Cohler writes totally makes sense, I hope you are not upset that not
everyone on the list agrees.

Regarding my question, I asked Jonathan for clarification - I didn't say
he said it. Reread what you have sent me above.....because his claim
implied that we should view the two situations as similar, than it also
implied the student's talent was the same. My clarification, followed by
a statement of IF THAN was completely reasonable. I am not sure I
understand your statement that I am reading what I want?
