Yes! The inverted does not pull out significant portions of my beard.
Actually, I have used both the regular and inverted Bonade ligatures
and find little difference between them. Other ligatures which do
not have the "rails" or a similar feature do seem to exert more equal
pressure when the screws are inverted and thus allow the reed to
vibrate more evenly.
