You have not been willing to state your "credentials and
qualifications." Therefore you cannot expect people on this list to
take you seriously. One does not need to be a professional to be
respected. Neither I (an amateur clarinetist) nor my husband (who was a
professional drummer for 12 years and is now an amateur sax player) are
embarrassed to publicly state our qualifications. As a result our
opinions are treated with respect and dignity. If we make a mistake, we
admit it and the list members set us straight politely and tactfully.

This philosophy works in life also. Those who do not give respect will
gain no respect !!
