Yesterday I received Abe Galper's new publication, The Upbeat Baermann
Melodic Scales Studies published by Waterloo Music, with Preface by David
Blumberg.

Great book! Nice to see the chromatic fingerings exactly the way I like
to present them to students, and some good, easy to read charts of upper
altissimo fingerings (above high C). This is an excellent book for
technical development or maintenence. Everyone should get a copy!
