(Sorry if this is a repeat, but the klarinet server went down a few days
ago so I'm reposting.)

Hi Everyone.

I hope someone can help.

I took clarinet/sax lessons with Mike Guerra, Sr. when I was in High
School (about 20 years ago!), and he would write exercises, scales, etc.
in a manuscript book for me at each lesson. I recently moved and am now
unable to find that little manuscript book! I really want to use it
with my current clarinet students, but can remember only a small
fraction of what he wrote in the book.

For those of you who never heard of Mike, he was a great old-time sax
and clarinet man with a most impressive resume - he played the sax solo
in "Pictures" with the Phil Orch under Toscannini, and his students
included Coltraine, Goodman, and other famous reed men.

Please respond to list or privately if you studied with Mike. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dr. Mark E. Belczyk
