Actually, I don't think the (10% Acetic Acid?) vinegar will harm the
mouthpiece in a short period of time once or twice a year. But leaving it
soak for a period of time may. I know acetic acid will react with plastic.

Sorry I can't be a little more accurate, but I am truly not sure.
