Just a warning for non improvisers -

One of the books for sure (I think I played Book 2) calls for a bluesy
improv solo (just chords). If you are not comfortable with that, you
will want to steer clear of that book or trade with someone else on that
song. If I recall right, book 4 also has a tenor sax blues solo (but my
memory could be wrong on that; it's been three or four years since I
last played the show).

At 10:18 AM 4/7/98 -0400, Scott Morrow asked about the reed books for
the
show _Gypsy_.

This is hearsay, Scott. I have never played this show (yet), but my
records
indicate:

1 piccolo, flute, clarinet, alto sax
2 piccolo, flute, clarinet, alto sax
3 piccolo, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, tenor sax, bass sax
4 oboe, English horn, clarinet, tenor sax
5 clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, baritone sax
